Our Special Wedding Day

The first thing I'd like to say is "PLEASE CALL ME" what we typically do after our initial phone conversation is set up a very informal meeting.....over coffee just to meet and get to know one another, It is suprising how so many ideas get discussed while we get to know each other. Once you and your fiance select me as your officiant, we will fill out a Wedding Minister Agreement showing the date, time, venue and all the pertinent info required and we all will sign it.

The next step is that I will start to develop your ceremony based on the thoughts and ideas we talked about in or meeting, for example...will you have a unity candle, sand ceremony, will any other people be involved in the actual ceremony like a singer or will someone do a reading or poem. All these "components" will be assembled into your ceremony. Now comes the rehearsal... 

There are several "other" things you should think about when planning your wedding ceremony, for example: will there be music playing as your guest are being seated, will the music selection change when your wedding party enters, and will it change again when the bride makes her way down the aisle? You also want to picture how the wedding party will look to the guests when the ceremony is underway...is everyone standing where they should be? Then you need to decide how they get there! This is where I can help. Part of my service is doing the coordinating at the rehearsal, I will make sure everyone will feel comfortable in their role and that all the elements of your ceremony will go as planned.
